Role Purpose

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing customer service on the shop floor, addressing customer needs promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels and achieve optimal sales outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, offer assistance promptly, and serve them to ensure their needs are met in compliance with quality and customer service standards. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging in up-selling, cross selling, suggesting alternatives, and promptly following up on customers' requests.
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient receiving process for items/shipments, maintaining accurate stock keeping preventing security risks and thefts. Conduct physical and electronic inventory as needed, promptly report broken alarms, incidents, and suspicious activities. 
  • Arrange and replenish shop shelves continuously, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the shop floor and shelves at all times to maintain the brand's image and coordination standards.
  • Handle cash registers and customer transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
  •  Specific for Fashion: Take precise measurements for necessary alterations, assign prices based on the established price list (when applicable), and coordinate the required alterations promptly and accurately. 
  • Specific for Multimedia & Lifestyle: Promote additional products and services to customers to meet hourly and daily sales goals through effective up-selling and cross-selling techniques.
  • Specific for Multimedia & Lifestyle, Sports, and Leisure: Notify department or universe managers about unavailable and underperforming products.
  • Specific for Multimedia & Lifestyle, Sports, and Leisure: Organize product displays in relevant sections based on sales trends, release dates, and recommendations from department or universe managers.

Qualifications:

  • High School Degree
  • Fluency in English, Arabic is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Zero to one years of experience in a similar role

Job Purpose:

The Receptionist is responsible for answering inquiries of callers, customers, visitors and other interested parties.
 
Responsibilities

  • Provide requested information to callers, direct them to appropriate personnel and take messages when needed 
  • Meet visitors, determine nature of business, direct them to specific destinations and notify concerned person of visitor’s arrival 
  • Send, receive, dispatch and distribute incoming mail, facsimiles or other materials to relevant parties while tracking courier services 
  • File and maintain records of internal/ external mail on appropriate tools as per the set standards
Specific for UAE Offices: 

  • Assist in handling internal processes related to Head Office departments by releasing company documents to internal/external customers such as labour contracts/cards, passport release, checks and/or other legal documents 
  • Provide administrative support to Line Managers through printing company related documents and distributing them as required
  • Process international call requests as instructed by management
  • Monitor the stationary supply of the Administration Department while managing the procurement process 
Qualifications
  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar field
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Purpose:

The Merchandise Planner is responsible for actively contributing to the development of his/her brand, focusing on the buying process and new product development for the brand's established stores. He/she is responsible for achieving sales and profit targets for the stores by maximizing profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop close relationships with the shops and maintain daily communication with the franchisor. 
  • Select collections or products aligned with current market trends and cultural influences. Analyze the targeted market segment for the store's products, ensuring appropriate pricing markup and margins. 
  •  Oversee the entire buying process and manage product flows throughout the season, ensuring seamless operations and alignment with sales goals. 
  • Engage with buyers to discuss seasonal trends, collaboratively establishing agreements on the seasonal launch plan, product selection, and sizing distribution. 
  • Monitor orders placed against monthly open-to-buy targets on the buy plan, ensuring they are placed promptly and in accordance with assortment plans (weekly/monthly). 
  • Ensure the availability of all replenishment items by reviewing and placing replenishment orders on a weekly basis to prevent stock-outs.
  • Assist in the analysis and planning of the Open-To-Buy (OTB) and agree on the budget provided by the retail analysis team, ensuring alignment with financial goals and market trends.
  • Manage stock levels by aligning them with forecasted seasonal sales and product follow-up, including commercial calendar planning. Supervise stock availability and collaborates with the brand manager to formulate the brand's pricing strategy based on comparative reports.
  • Conduct regular sales reporting in close coordination with the shops to identify margin opportunities and risks, ensuring strategic adjustments are made as needed. 
  • Conduct weekly forecasts at territory/subclass levels to identify and address exceptions, such as over-performance or under-performance in sales patterns. 
  • Manage weekly stock holdings, forward covers, and inflows, and propose necessary actions in consultation with the commercial team when needed. 
  • Monitor product flow by identifying both slow sellers and best sellers, ensuring appropriate allocation or relocation as necessary to optimize sales and inventory management.
Qualifications :
  • Fluency in English, Arabic is a plus 
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field
  • Two to four years of experience in Fashion Retail, or a similar role. 
  • Experience in purchasing is a plus.
