Product Manager – Cash Management
Role Objective:
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the Cash Management product portfolio, throughout the product lifecycle, from planning to execution in support of the functional / corporate strategies.
The incumbent will manage cross-functional product development and management efforts of value-added products and services including Collections, Payments, Account Services & Liquidity Management as well as digital products for the Corporate client segment, in line with the regulatory guidelines, and internal policies.
The job holder will work closely with the internal stakeholders and industry partners in monitoring market trends/ competitive products, analyzing product coverage / business development efforts, revenue projections, and precise product positioning /marketing initiatives.
Further the incumbent will assist the Department Head - Global Transaction Banking & Innovation in developing Digital Roadmap for Cash Management, execution of projects, including automation of workflows within the Cash Management Group
Roles & Responsibilities:
Contribute towards the formulation, and implementation of the Global Transaction Banking & Innovation strategy, business plans, policies /procedures with respect to the Cash Management client segment, to support the overall functional and organizational business strategy.
Ensure that the business plans are within agreed budgets and timescales. Provide timely, accurate and complete progress reports to the Department Head - Global Transaction Banking & Innovation.
Update self on the current industry trends, economic events, regulatory requirements/changes set by QCB and other relevant government bodies, and, suggest adequate changes, pertaining to deliverables.
Manage the development / delivery of new, and existing Cash Management Products including Collections, Payments, Account Services & Liquidity Management as well as digital products and ensuring participation and buy-in from internal / external stakeholders
Work closely with the respective Business Units to ascertain requirements, and gaps in the respective market segments within the local/overseas Cash Management market.
Contribute towards the formulation and management of pricing models and setting of special pricing/ competitive pricing quotes for various Cash Management Products including Collections, Payments, Account Services & Liquidity Management services as well as digital products, to support business development efforts
Enhance the existing products within the Cash Management Products portfolio by creating incremental value-added features through competitive pricing, convenience and availability.
Monitor and report on the progress pertaining to various Cash Management Products across Business Units, ensuring all performance standards are met in terms of the business targets, controls, compliance, and quality standards
Qualification and Experience Required:
University graduate with a degree in Business or Banking or Finance or any other related discipline.
10-15 years of total experience in financial services/banking industry, entailing responsibilities pertaining to the specific area of discipline
Experience in Cash Management product management / product development role with a strong understanding of the global banking industry and best practices
Experience in technology and/or digital strategy, commercial strategy at a technology firm or digital arm of a financial services organization, catering to Corporate clients
Proven experience in program management within emerging digital landscapes in consulting area will be an added advantage
Sampling knowledge, value-proposition and hypothesis development
Understanding of market research techniques
Significant Knowledge in product development techniques, product structuring capability and positioning
Market segmentation knowledge for targeting and selecting clients
Certifications:
Certificate from top tier university in Product Management, Fintech, Digital Strategy domain will be an added advantage
