JOB TITLE: SENIOR HR ADVISOR – CORPORATE.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that we have sufficient employees of the right calibre to meet our strategic ambitions. This will be achieved by providing a proactive, high quality and people-centred human resources service for our global business functions across the full employment life cycle.
- Assist the HR Director in identifying and implementing HR’s strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with key managers across business functions to develop current and future workforce plans, including identifying skills gaps and planning ways to address these gaps through succession planning, secondments, promotions, transfers, or recruitment.
- Provide expert employment law advice and guidance for business function leaders by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and customs and practices, particularly in the UAE.
- Support line managers with all employee casework issues, including formal and informal disciplinary and grievance cases, long-term and intermittent sickness absence management, and any welfare concerns raised by employees or their managers.
- Advise on potential risks and challenges and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Assist in decision-making processes and provide expert guidance.
- Stay informed about industry developments and innovations.
- Produce detailed reports and presentations for management.
- Lead and manage operational HR initiatives and projects while building trust with key business stakeholders and fostering meaningful collaboration within the wider HR team (including HR business partners, HR shared services, and Centers of Excellence).
- Act as a deputy for the HR Director when required.
- Support HR Director – Corporate in the day-to-day management and reporting of our global HR budgets.
- Serve as the first point of contact for substantial HR queries (as opposed to process-related queries), providing prompt responses that are user-friendly, professionally accurate, and clearly articulated.
Essential Qualifications And Skills
- Graduate with at least a first degree.
- Preferably CIPD accredited (or equivalent).
- Experience in a similarly complex matrix organization.
- Experience in the energy services or oil and gas sector is beneficial.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UAE employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal skills based on trust and integrity.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries while working with a diverse, skilled workforce.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good understanding and application of confidentiality principles.

Petrofac Assistant HR Services in Manama Bahrain
JOB TITLE: ASSISTANT - HR SERVICES
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the mobilization and demobilization of employees.
- Managing HR Cloud Data, including updates to work locations and reporting lines.
- Coordinating with Yusuf (GRO in Bahrain) on all visa-related matters, including business and work visas for employees and vendors, maintaining accurate records of visa issuance and expiry dates, and ensuring timely renewals.
- Handling leave management, including all types of leave and RR applications, in direct coordination with project management and employees.
- Supporting the site team with timesheet issues, including OT for eligible personnel.
- Arranging air travel for RR, compassionate leave, and other types of leave.

JOB TITLE: Investigator
Key Responsibilities
- Actively engaged in conducting investigations of possible breaches of the Petrofac Code of Conduct and other Petrofac policies in line with the Petrofac Protocol and any Investigation Management System/Framework.
- Lead, in conjunction with the business and other functions if and when appropriate, complex Investigations across the group consistent with the Investigation Management System/Framework and as agreed with the Investigations Manager and with guidance from the Investigations Director as appropriate.
- Support in ongoing monitoring of the Speak-up incidents to actively assess and identify the potential investigations with guidance from the Investigations Manager.
- Support and liaise with investigators from different functions to enable feedback from the investigation closeout is appropriately fed to the designed Speak Up management process
- Working with other functions, such as Group Internal Audit, and business subject matter experts as required for delivery of investigations across the Group.
- Assist the Investigations Team and other members of the Compliance Function in the delivery of training on how to conduct effective investigations aimed at creating a network of investigation resources across the business
- Co-direct, under the supervision of the Investigations Manager and the Investigations Director, the execution of investigations per good practice by ensuring that all investigations have detailed and agreed Terms of Reference (ToR), including non-conflicted Decision Makers, prior to their commencement; reporting of investigation results in approved formats and in mutually agreeable/practicable timelines and oversee close out of Investigations.
- Provide oversight, particularly on investigations which are “farmed out” from Speak up and investigated by other parts of the Business.
- Live in conformance with the Petrofac Code of Conduct and Values with high ethical standards, commitment, and integrity.
- Versatile and seasoned investigator/Compliance, Legal or Internal Audit background professional.
- Graduate Law degree preferred otherwise a Degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering) and a second degree (e.g.: MBA, Finance, Law, Economics, Data Analysis) advantageous.
- Professional qualification, such as membership to a bar association, chartered or certified accountant, IT certifications, Chartered engineer, Certified Fraud Examiner, CCEP certifications
- 5+ years investigating and/or other relevant experience gained in Petrofac and/or other relevant companies or professional services firms.
- Experienced in working on Forensic tools, eg: NUIX, Microsoft E-discovery, Relativity etc.
- Relevant industry experience gained in Petrofac or other relevant companies.
- Experience of working in the business either in the first or second line of defence would be an advantage.
