JOB ROLE:

To build, manage and maintain relationships with Government Banking customers, through selling and cross selling products and services, as well as providing solutions based on client needs with the objective of achieving sales targets, while ensuring that credit quality is maintained.

Policies, Processes & Procedures:

Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Day- to-day operations:

Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.

Sales & Relationship Management:

Builds relationships with Government Banking clients that are buyers of financial services through visits to major prospects and existing customers.

Develops a thorough understanding of customer’s organization, industry and global practices to maintain proximity to the clients and meet their banking needs and expectations.

Business Development:

Identifies revenue opportunities to actively sell Corporate Banking products to Government customers in order to support the sales targets.

Maximizes product penetration and cross selling and actively seeks structured finance opportunities in-order to ensure the services required by the organization are delivered in the most effective manner.

Develops account plans in a consistent and timely manner in order to swiftly follow-up on identified action items.

Product Enhancement:

Provides inputs demand insights to the team for loans which are commercially viable and also meet the required market demand.

Credit Approval:

Reviews CAs and approve them as per authority levels in order to ensure quality and completeness of all CAs before sending them to Credit for CA Review.

Collaborates with the Credit Analytics Section and Risk Management on an ongoing basis in order to constantly secure and enhance the quality of the credit portfolio.

Continuous Improvement:

Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Reporting:

Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Riyad Bank to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.

Related Assignments:

Undertake any other related duties or tasks as directed and required by the Bank.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business with preferably a specialization in Finance or Accounting.

Minimum Experience: 3-5 years relevant experience in the banking sector.

Language: English: Advanced.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AREAS:

Job Purpose:

To understand the business needs of the assigned area of responsibility and to proceed to the development, configurations and delivery of the applications and systems required for efficiency and effectiveness of the business operations.

Area of Responsibilities: 

  • Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
  • Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work
  • Communicates with the business operation of the assigned area of responsibility to identify and to better clarify its business needs 
  • Analyses the business needs of the assigned area and supports the introduction of solutions that match the operating needs of the business needs

Job Purpose:

To balance the risks by aligning policies, procedures and reporting with Disaster Recovery and Regulatory requirements.

Responsible for providing governance, reporting and monitoring of disaster recovery planning and ensure appropriate corporate governance and awareness of existing risk issues.

Responsible for the operational integrity and regulatory compliance of the electrical power, mechanical, monitoring and control systems for a highly available Disaster Recovery Data Center. 

Area of Responsibility:

  • Development, enforcement and monitoring of controls, policies and procedures, and risk and compliance reporting for the Disaster Recovery Program.
  • Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for Disaster Recovery and ensure full compliance with the established standards and procedures
  • Controls and ensures that the physical operation of the Disaster Recovery Data Center is according to the operating rules and regulations, such as temperature, access and building safety, availability of electricity supply etc., so as to facilitate their safe operation
  • Monitors all the operating indications of DRDC, and proceeds to the implementation of corrective actions in case of discrepancies
  • Ensures that all servers possess the required tapes for data back up and systems operations
  • Coordinates with vendors for the accurate processing of information systems activities, e.g. upgrades and maintenance of all equipment at DRDC
  • Monitors and reports the daily operating status of DRDC, identifying and reporting any potential malfunction, so as to facilitate the development of solutions for a permanent resolution
  • Controls that the employees have full accessibility to the servers and the systems according to their authorization level, while proceeds to the resolution of any potential malfunction, so as to support the continuous function of Banking operations
  • Keeps abreast of market trends, as well as hardware and software developments and recommends upgrades that will improve the efficiency of the Disaster Recovery Data Center
