You Would Be Responsible For

Market and competitive analysis to identify and prioritize opportunities.
Liaise with MEA 4P/Product team on Portfolio management and implement within territory/country including product offerings, price setting, promotions, etc.
Identify implement initiatives to maximize share, product mix, profitability, and product contribution to business.

  • Detailed quarterly sales-in/sales-out planning.
  • Alignment with sales and marketing teams, including priorities for weekly sales out, stock situation, promotion and marcom activities.
  • Ensure transition planning and accurate forecasting for relevant products, co-owner with country Sales.
  • Communicate and present portfolio and product updates to sales teams.
  • Evaluate performance against plan at appropriate intervals (e.g. weekly, monthly, quarterly) and make corrective actions to achieve the key performance criteria of revenue and profitability.
  • Ownership of weeks of inventory and aged inventory, ensuring product inventory and aging product levels are in line with regional guidance.
  • Adapt to expertise in Lenovo internal business planning and tracking tools.

You Should Ideally Have

  • A degree equivalent – preferably in Business.
  • Minimum 5+ years product and/or business management experience; additionally, experience with technology products, ideally from IT industry.
  • Commercial business /customer understanding, and a strong understanding of IT channel business in KSA.
  • Comfortable with financial management and PLs.
  • Effective oral presentations to a variety of audiences, and able to present strategies and products in a clear and convincing manner.
  • Good analytical skills with high level of accuracy in data analysis and reacts with appropriate urgency to situations. Strong influencer and able to convince sales team.

As the Chief Commercial Officer, you will build and execute the vertical industry strategy to achieve our business growth expectations in terms of volumes, values, revenue, profit and market share. Together with the CTO you will define industry solutions and strategies to increase our market presence by industry, performance and overcome daily, short, mid and longer-term business challenges. You will drive our weekly, monthly, and quarterly commercial business cadences and outcomes to deliver on expected Vertical Business Goals.

Key to this success in this role is the ability to lead and work collaboratively in a matrixed and complex environment, and to be able to influence key decision makers in KSA, EMEA and on Global levels.

You will lead a team of highly professional and skilled Senior Client Managers and Specialists and the teams that support and report to them.

What Will You Do

  • Position Lenovo as the Global Technology Powerhouse in the Kingdom leveraging our investment into our future state of the art manufacturing plant and close partnership with ALAT
  • Define our verticalized GTM strategy for the B2B Commercial REL Business Customers and deliver by stretching business ambitions
  • Lead and maximize the execution of our yearly ambitious business plan to achieve our business goals across all Business Groups
  • Maintain a high level of engagement in your team and ensure alignment with corporate strategies
  • Drive and manage our commercial management cadence across KSA including PL ownership for this segment, together with Sales Operations
  • Apply our best-in-class product portfolio, solutions and services and line-up
  • Provide clear and detailed market and competitive analysis incl. a vertical market analysis
  • Own PL by vertical (Ministries, Authorities, Universities, Public Investment Fund (PIF) companies, Oil Gas, Telco Utilities, Smart Cities, Financial Services, Banking, Insurances)
  • Collaborate with Lenovo alliance partners, WW BUs and internal key stakeholders on monthly, quarterly and annual planning of the business, aligning on execution of Lenovo key metrics (PL, market share, PtM, Product mix, LoB expansion, strategic programmes)
What will you bring?

  • 10 + years of experience in the ICT industry focused on the Government and Enterprise commercial sector, in similar organizations and operating at a KSA level or having a similar KSA market experience
  • Proven Market knowledge to access C-Level stakeholders within Government, Enterprise / Commercial / B2B Customers in KSA.Demonstrate a track record of outperforming market growth in terms of Revenue, Market Share, Profit
  • Presenting Lenovo unique value proposition to customers, prospects and be an active part in Lenovo KSA customer and partner events
  • Experienced in managing PL
  • 5+ years of experience in leading teams of professional business managers and individual contributors
  • Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage
  • A willingness to travel, engaging the customers, partners, and global teams
