Role Purpose:

We are currently looking to add Sales Associates to our upcoming new store in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have 1 - 2 years of experience in a retail environment as a Sales Associate or have relevant customer service experience. A proven track record in achieving sales targets and building customer relationships is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and assist them in finding what they're looking for.
  • Maintain full knowledge of current sales, promotions, and policies regarding payment and exchange, and security practices.
  • Maintain organized stock room at all times, ensuring that enough stocks are available for all items and inform the Shop Manager about any requirements or over stock items.
  • Arrange and display merchandise according to item, size and color, under the direction of the Merchandiser team.
  • Receive all methods of payments from customers and ensure proper turn-over of cash register to the next duty cashier.

Job Purpose:

The Deputy Store Manager (DSM) plays a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, team management, and customer satisfaction. You will act as the second-in-command, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and stepping in as acting Store Manager when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Supervise and motivate the sales team to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Assist in daily store operations including merchandising, stock management, cash handling, and staff scheduling.
  • Ensure the store is well-maintained, clean, and adheres to BFL’s brand and visual merchandising standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with the warehouse, and oversee stock replenishment.
  • Handle customer complaints and issues with professionalism, escalating when necessary.
  • Implement company policies and procedures to maintain a secure and compliant retail environment.
  • Lead by example on the shop floor, providing coaching and support to team members.
  • Analyze sales reports and provide insights to the Store Manager for strategic planning.
  • Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations.
Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial retail role, preferably in fashion or off-price retail.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to service.
  • Familiarity with retail KPIs, stock control procedures, and visual merchandising.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Retail Management preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant retail experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
