Overall Job Purpose

This is a seasoned salesperson who meets all job requirements and is capable of functioning under minimal supervision.

Needs to be an expert on the commodities/type of customer assigned. This position is not only responsible for selling the company’s products but also acts as a strategic account manager for each account assigned.

Responsibilities

  •  Proposes and develops the commercial strategy for each customer defined in his portfolio
  •  Plans to establish and maintain major account relationships.
  •  Establish and build strong client relationships over time that allow for continuity and ongoing representation with the customer base
  •  Monitors competitors’ activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated.
  •  Visit / Contact customers: Present the products/services of the Company; Present our service offerings, which go beyond just selling Ocean freight and include, but are not limited to, Road freight services and various digital products from our portfolio
  •  Follow up and ensure the customers don’t exceed their assigned finance credit limit
  •  Custom centricity and problem-solving skills required to manage & grow customer portfolio

Qualifications

  •  University degree or equivalent
  •  Experience of 3-5 years in shipping or related industry
  •  Good command of written and spoken English
  •  Working knowledge of MS Office
  •  Able to work well with others and follow guidelines

Overall Job Purpose

The Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of Area Saudi Arabia is an experienced, organized, detail-oriented, self-starter with a great attitude. You are the right-hand to the Managing Director, managing and supporting the daily workflow to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the office. You are enthusiastic, flexible, well-organized, and a team player with strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with the ability to switch priorities in a given moment, while maintaining grace under pressure.

Responsibilities

  •  - Executive Support
  •  Serves as a trusted partner, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all situations.
  •  Effective calendar management - coordinates internal and external meetings, including but not limited to team meetings, full staff meetings, off-site meetings, one-on-one meetings, etc.
  •  First point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. This includes screening calls and emails, drafting responses, and ensuring timely and professional communication on behalf of the Managing Director.
  •  Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials on various performance indicators before the MD’s meetings and trips.
  •  Arranging MD’s travel and logistics, including flights, visa requirements, hotel accommodation, transport, meeting schedules while travelling, and completing expenses.
  •  Organizing internal & external meetings, ensuring all requirements are met, e.g., meeting venue, equipment, presentations, and preparing agendas.
  •  Providing secretarial support for meetings as & when required, including distributing agendas, attending the meetings, writing & distributing the meeting agendas & following up on action points.
  •  Coordinating initiatives, and communication with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  •  Support MD in external commitments.
  •  Administration
  •  Responsible for office administration matters.
  •  Arranging travel and hotel accommodation
  •  Arranging package and other deliveries, and greeting and signing in visitors/guests.
Qualifications

  •  Education: Bachelor’s degree
  •  Experience of 5+ years as Executive Assistant, PA, or similar role. Alternatively, 3+ years in a commercial role in Shipping or Logistics and looking for next level exposure.
  •  Fluency in English is required (written and spoken).
  •  Advanced Skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
