Sales Executive - Decorative Trade
As a Sales Executive – Decorative Trade, you shall act as a key point of contact between Hempel and its retailers; answering queries, offering advice and introducing new products. Promote products and services to retailers and negotiate contracts with the aim of maximizing profits. Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options. Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospect retailers; recommending solutions.
Drive sales in a vibrant, fast-growing decorative coatings market.
- Accountable to deliver the value ,volume and gross profit budget for the assigned trade accounts.
- Identify and appoint new retailers to expands Hempel’s retail network.
- Maintain productive relationship with existing retailers, assist them to achieve their overall sales target through regular visits, timely communication of trades schemes, providing clarity monthly credit /rebate notes, solving retailer queries, introducing new products with the shop team, ensuring timely execution of MH orders.
- Monitor and ensure Hempel’s entire range of focus SKU’s are present in the retail outlet, retailers achieve the product mix targets assigned.
- Implement sales promotional programs for brand building.
- Provide timely feedback on market practices and competitor offerings, this information is essential for future scheme design from Hempel.
- Conduct retail audit to assess market potential, estimation of sale of competitors, define Hempel market share.
- Forecast the retailer material demand to ensure availability of stock.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure prompt and satisfactory handling.
- Liaise with the branch accountant for proper credit control and establishment of credit limits for customers.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry would be valuable.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in coating industry from a reputed organization.
- Knowledge on paint technology and application will be an advantage.
- Proven sales experience and superior analytical skills.
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and familiarity with Sales System, e.g. CRM and IQS
- Strong communication (both English & Arabic will be an advantage) , negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Holds a valid driving license.
