Client Manager Siemens Energy in Dammam Saudi Arabia
The Client Manager is responsible for leading challenging service and modernization projects within these industries, managing the different customers in the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia to achieve year-over-year bookings growth
This position reports to the Head of Service Sales Middle East for compression Business and it includes the tasks as described hereunder. We are looking for a self-motivated, dynamic, customer-focused leader dedicated to achieving our goals of meeting financial targets, customer satisfaction.
- Proactively and systematically prospect the market aiming to generate new leads and opportunities. Identify, create and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline in Salesforce to support overall business sales target
- Represent Siemens Energy in pre-contract dealings with customers including negotiations. Ensure customer satisfaction and build a strong relationship with the customers HQ and sites.
- Perform booking forecast (quarterly & yearly forecast), reporting and win-loss analysis and deliver on agreed annual sales targets for the Compression service business for the designated country / customer base.
- Develop the sales capture plan and strategy around each customer in your responsibility, incorporating the customer needs, equipment application, Siemens Energy strengths, competitor’s weaknesses and a robust market level pricing recommendation based on the assessment of competitive position.
- Understand the evaluation and decision-making process of customers and develop a strategy to position Siemens Energy ahead of the competition.
- Effectively manage opportunities via CRM Tool (Salesforce.com), ensuring opportunities are regularly updated and maintained in accordance with company policy. The Client Manager is encouraged to ensure funnel accuracy and attend regular reviews to update management on order intake and forecasted opportunities.
- Proven track record in driving results, delivering on growth strategies and proactive creation & conversion of sales opportunities in complex market environments
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering required with a minimum 5 years of experience in Energy industry and at least 3 years in sales/business development role.
- Turbomachinery experience/knowledge is mandatory, strong technical understanding of industrial compressors is preferred.
- Willingness to travel proactively to customers.
- Ability to work independently and interact with all levels within customer organization, strong analytical and strategic problem solver with a focus on technical differentiation and value selling
- Proficient in communication, both written and spoken, be able to discuss technical and commercial aspects; Business English speaking and writing skills are necessary. Arabic is preferable.

Cost Estimator Siemens Energy in Dammam Saudi Arabia
The principal responsibility of this position as a Cost Estimator is to perform cost estimating functions for equipment packaged in Dammam and sold based on customer specifications. Role reports to Head of Cost Estimation & Planning CEP. Role requires coordination and interaction across Bid Management, Procurement, Production, Engineering, Finance and Project Management mainly within KSA and partially internationally as well.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Estimate product line costing: Interpret scope and build estimates using in-house tools, cost books and experience data and calculate a complete and accurate cost of components and assemblies for projects in Dammam
- Align costing of all involved parties on a project basis and optimize cost position (e.g. by cost review and cost-out meetings)
- Develop, create and monitor model selections of configurations. Update the data and maintain templates with current costs and applicable tools in Dammam
- Work directly with Bid Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing departments to obtain their feedback for building the estimate and updating existing cost models
- Audit and analyze actual costs with estimated costs to determine if variances exist. Initiate corrective action on any discrepancies and implement lessons learned
- Manage multiple proposal cost estimates concurrently
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Finance/Accounting, additional Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, ideally in the Bid Management / Operations area of the Rotating Equipment Industry; product knowledge of Turbo Compressors and ability to understand and consider technical / commercial requirements
- Strong affinity for the costing / pricing process during the pre-order stage, preferably supported by experience with costing tools
- Strong drive with motivation skills to accomplish tasks with high quality and on time with attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge in Office applications
- Pro-active and hands-on character with economical thinking and a strong will to provide best in class project support and willingness to improve the business every day.
