Head of Sales Saudi Arabia Doka Jobs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Description

Advanced Formwork Co. Ltd (Doka Saudi) offers an exciting opportunity as Head of Sales who will be responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies in order to exploit the market potentials. The Head of Sales will be accountable for expanding Doka’s presence in Saudi Arabia and will be responsible for managing sales, sales targets, profitability management and strategy implementation, in addition to leadership responsibility for the Sales Team. The Head of Sales is part of the Country Leadership Team and reports to the Managing Director. 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage Sales personnel and support them to reach their individual sales targets
  • Maintain close customer relationships with key clients and decision makers
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with engineering, finance and operations and ensure smooth and close collaboration between the departments
  • Optimize offer processes (scope of supply incl. services, project calculation, contract management) and order processes (change orders, claims, service charges) via appropriate monitoring
  • Visualize the added value of management tools (e.g. Project Calculator, Victori II & III, Cockpit, Sales Dashboard) and ensure effective utilization
  • Drive sales & margin goals for assigned territory, monthly forecasts including revenue by product & customer and ensure an aggressive growth rate
  • Collaborate with management to produce plans, budgets, forecasts and subsequently delivery against these plans
  • Work with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure proper handover of sales order and that materials for the solution are in stock
  • Ensure efficient and compliant projects and contract management

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ international Sales/Engineering experience in System Formwork Industry 
  • Qualification in Civil Engineering, Business Management or equivalent
  • Large Scale Projects Management experience, ideally in Middle East region
  • Strong sales management skills especially in negotiation and closing
  • Good financial understanding/business acumen (Margin Drivers, Discount Policy, Pricing Strategies..)
  • Project & Key Account Management as well as job site experience
  • Proven Leadership Experience: Steering with KPI’s, enabling & empowering reports, inspiring others, Management by objectives
  • Proactive and effective interpersonal relationship & communication and feedback skills
  • Hands-on mentality and approach
  • Be an entrepreneurial thinker and not be afraid to think outside the box, take ownership and calculated risks
  • Conceptual and analytical thinking, commercial awareness, customer orientation, creativity and assertiveness
  • International track record in the construction industry

Commercial Coordinator

Job Description

Advanced Formwork Co. Ltd (Doka) is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Coordinator to join its dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and material management processes.
As a Commercial Coordinator, you will be responsible for placing material reservations, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to continuous improvement. If you have a background in logistics, excellent communication skills, and a drive to excel, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Place material reservations and ensure timely update
  • Communicates with customers/sales personnel regarding product availability, delivery dates, order cancellations and order status
  • Connects on a daily basis with all levels of staff in all departments (Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance) and Yard personnel etc. to ensure customer needs are met;
  • Coordinate the release and return of material with Engineering, Warehouse, Sales and clients to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Monitor all material movements and solve any problems arising from disputes during the project period
  • Ensure accurate invoicing and resolve disputes/credit requests arising during the project period together with Revenue Controllers/Sales/Clients
  • Ensure accurate and correct processing in Discos II
  • Create and file all related correspondences and reports
  • Responsible for month end closing activities in Discos (including invoice closing, purchase order review and reconciliation, negative inventories)
  • Support the annual full stock take
  • Come up with process improvement proposals to Team lead
  • Support and replace Commercial team members as required
  • Other tasks upon request from Head of Dept.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in Commercial & Supply Chain management.
  • Experience in project management preferably in Construction/Manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and effective problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills required.
  • Ability to learn new computer systems, products, concepts, and techniques.
  • Organized team player able to work independently in a results-driven, fast-paced environment.
