- Experience prospecting, or building customer relationships from scratch.

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience promoting Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software across multiple industries, aligning solutions to drive business outcomes.
- Experience working with, and leading, cross-functional teams and partners in implementations and negotiations.
- Experience with legal negotiations, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
- Experience working with Customer Engineers and customers' technical leads to inventory software estate, define migration plans, and build migration business cases.
- Experience acquiring new logos and securing foundational workload(s) to accelerate consumption business growth.
- Experience developing relationships and influencing executives.

As a Field Sales Representative (FSR) focused on new customer acquisition for enterprise accounts, the primary responsibility is to grow Google Cloud’s market share by acquiring new logos and securing the foundational workload(s) to accelerate their consumption business growth. You will lead the engagement with a group of cross-industry enterprise customers and assist them in solving their business challenges with the solutions. You will identify specific business problems working with stakeholders across your accounts, and partner with the extended team to develop technical solutions to solve them. You will be responsible for building relationships across various levels within the customer, from developers to executives. Additionally, you will lead a cross-functional team and leverage the resources, including Customer Engineering, Business Development, cross-functional sellers, and Partners to maximize outcomes.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Lead prospecting and acquisition of new clients, creating and building customer relationships. Become an advisor on their technology and business decisions.
Become an expert on the customers' business, including their Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product portfolio, technology strategy, growth plans, business drivers, financial structure, customer base, vertical market offering and engaged landscape.
Lead account strategy to develop business growth opportunities, working cross-functionally with multiple teams and Google Partners, to maximize business impact within enterprise customers.
Manage complex business cycles, presenting to executives and negotiating terms.
Drive business development, own operational excellence, forecast, and achieve goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.

Security Sales Specialist I, Small/Medium Businesses, Google Cloud
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in a sales role in the enterprise software or cloud space.
Experience selling to clients in the enterprise cybersecurity or IT field.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience supporting long-term executive relationships, and developing territories/accounts from scratch, while ensuring customer success, adoption and expansion.
- Experience working with internal/external teams, including account teams, technical leads, procurement, and legal, to inventory existing software estate, build business cases for transformation with implementation plans, and close agreements.
- Experience prioritizing, planning, and organizing solution-based sales activity within business cycles, including qualifying high value accounts and leveraging the partner ecosystem.
- Experience meeting strategic business goals in a sales role.
- Knowledge of market trends, products, and solutions in Cloud and cybersecurity.
About The Job
As a Security Sales Specialist supporting Small/Medium sized businesses, you will help grow the cybersecurity business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. In this role, you will work with customers to demonstrate product functionality, and provide a comprehensive overview of key business use cases. You will lead day-to-day relationships with cross-functional team members and external customers, while identifying innovative ways to multiply impact and the impact of the team as a whole to drive overall value for Google Cloud.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93,000-$133,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, managing business cycles, identifying solution use cases, and influencing long-term strategic direction of accounts.
- Deliver and achieve strategic business and growth goals while forecasting and reporting territory business.
- Work with Google accounts and cross-functional teams (e.g., Customer Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Channels) to develop go-to-market strategies, drive pipeline and business growth, close agreements, understand the customer, and provide a positive customer experience.
- Construct and execute a territory development plan.
- Work with multiple customers and opportunities simultaneously, understanding each customer’s technology footprint and strategy, growth plans, business drivers, competitors, and how they can transform their business using technologies.
