In addition to bringing together the best talents in the Tech industry, our Paris office brings together the teams in charge of the VTC (Uber) and Uber Eats part. More specifically, the Uber Eats teams are working to develop meal delivery - via the application - among
45,000 partner restaurants and merchants in France, in less than 25 minutes. Uber's technology and know-how are used by
restaurants and delivery people to simplify meal delivery and provide the best experience for users.
The role within the team
Within Uber Eats, the Sales teams are responsible for the selection of restaurants available on the application in more than 300 cities in France . The objective: to offer a wide and varied offering of restaurants in each area covered by the application and to unearth
local gems that will accelerate the development of Uber Eats.
To do this, Sales identifies, canvasses, negotiates and supports restaurants to convince them to adopt a new sales channel: delivery via the
Uber Eats application. All sales stages are covered: from making contact (canvassing) through negotiation to the completion of the first delivery by the restaurant.
Relations with restaurants are mainly by telephone or email, but tactical trips can sometimes be organized.
Responsibilities Of The Role
- Clearly present the services, values and projects of Uber Eats to restaurants (prospects), in order to make them want to join us.
- Conclude partnerships with restaurants in your territory by managing the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing and the arrival of partners on the platform.
- Manage commercial negotiations in order to secure partnerships with restaurants with very high potential.
- Contribute to the development and operationalization of the commercial strategy to ensure that Uber Eats can successfully develop at scale (everywhere and at high speed).
- Identify and prioritize the restaurants to approach for each area worked in order to balance the volume of contacts, conversion of prospects and business potential (local gem, diversified cuisine offering, etc.).
Required profile
We are looking for a curious and motivated foodista , with a strong interest in Food-tech, a strong taste for challenge and negotiation.
More Precisely
- Experience in a Sales position (CDI, CDD or Apprenticeship), with a strong cold-calling dimension
- Solid knowledge of telephone prospecting, negotiation and closing of contracts and support
- Good relational skills in order to quickly build relationships with different partners
- A determined, autonomous and results-oriented profile with organizational and initiative-taking skills in a constantly evolving environment
- Clear communication and strong persuasiveness
- A fluent level of French and a good level of English
Mid-Market Account Executive, Uber for Business
About The Role
Uber for Business has rapidly expanded and is positioned to be the next growth engine for Uber. We are looking for highly motivated and self-driven individuals that can demonstrate a history of successfully hitting targets, and who have a clear passion (and resourcefulness) for growing strategic partnerships for Uber. This person will be the first Uber for Business hire in Ireland as we invest in growing the market.
The right candidate will be joining the UK & Ireland team - one of the globally top performing teams in Uber for Business in 2024, and will contribute to the continued success in 2025 and beyond.
What You'll Do
- Drive partnerships and sales of the Uber for Business platform, services, and solutions to target prospect companies through strategic conversations at all levels within these organisations
- Prepare a go-to market plan and sales strategy; prospect potential clients and conduct rigorous follow-ups to close deals
- Implement and launch Uber for Business with clients and ensure strong and consistent ridership
- Conduct needs analysis to uncover cross-selling opportunities
- Probe for objections, remove obstacles, and eliminate barriers to gain commitment
- Participate in periodic team reviews and updates on business progress, best practice sharing etc.
What You'll Need
- At least 3 years of experience in business development, B2B or technology sales
- English language proficiency
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience with Salesforce
- High achieving mindset
