Events Account Manager- Sales

Role Overview:

An Events Account Manager- Sales is responsible for generating revenue through client acquisition, managing client relationships, and executing event projects successfully. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, maintaining existing client accounts, and ensuring seamless event execution from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Acquisition
  • Identify and target new business opportunities in the events sector (corporate, government, exhibitions, etc.).
  • Conduct market research to identify event trends and potential clients.
  • Initiate outbound calls, LinkedIn reach-outs, and networking to establish connections.
  • Attend industry events and exhibitions to network and generate leads.
Account Management
  • Manage client accounts from onboarding to project completion.
  • Develop strong client relationships to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for event-related communication.
  • Handle client requests for proposals (RFPs), quotations, and event specifications.
  • Ensure that all client interactions reflect the company’s standards and values.
 Event Planning, Coordination & Execution
  • Collaborate with the internal event team to design event concepts and layouts.
  • Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and production teams to secure high-quality deliverables.
  • Oversee logistics, venue setup, and on-site event execution.
  • Ensure all events are executed to client expectations and company standards.
  • Manage on-the-ground coordination during event setup and teardown.
  • Troubleshoot issues during event execution and provide solutions promptly.
  • Ensure all event permits, licenses, and regulations are secured and compliant.
 Financial Management & Reporting
  • Prepare budget estimates, track project costs, and manage invoicing.
  • Monitor project margins to ensure profitability.
  • Conduct cost negotiations with suppliers and vendors to maintain budget integrity.
  • Report financial performance and project status to management regularly.
Post-Event Analysis & Follow-up
  • Conduct post-event evaluations with clients to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Send follow-up communications and nurture relationships for repeat business.
  • Analyze event performance and profitability for internal reports.
Key Skills Required:
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong project management abilities
  • High-level organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with CRM software and event management platforms
  • Knowledge of Saudi market regulations for events
  • Hands-on event execution experience
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):
  • Monthly Revenue Targets: Achieving or exceeding net sales goals
  • Client Retention Rate: Maintaining long-term relationships with key accounts
  • Event Margin Control: Ensuring projects remain profitable (minimum 30% margin recommended)
  • Client Satisfaction: Positive feedback and recurring business
  • Lead Conversion Rate: Converting qualified leads into confirmed projects
  • Successful Event Execution: No major client issues or logistical failures during events
