Over the last year, Saudi Arabian Olympic & Paralympic Committee (SOPC) has embarked on a transformation with a vision to achieve a 3rd level ranking in the 2022 Asian Games and winning a multitude of medals in different sports disciplines for KSA. The overall aim of the organization is to comply with the objectives of International Olympic Committee (IOC) and adopt the best practices of the leading international sport organizations to ensure that SOPC and KSA become strong contenders on the global sports forefront.
SOPC aims to promote a change in the life style of the Saudi society, especially the youth by raising awareness and creating interest to participate in sports. The committee has 31 Sport Federations under their realm and the objective is to have a well-rounded team of astounding athletes who can represent their nation with pride & honour.

Director, Boards & Committees Saudi Jobs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Job Purpose
Responsible for managing the administrative and operational activities of SOPC’s Boards and Committees. This role ensures that meetings are well-organized, governance protocols are followed, and that decisions are documented and implemented effectively. The Senior Manager serves as a central point of coordination, fostering communication, adherence to SOPC’s regulatory frameworks, and alignment with strategic priorities.
Job Specific Accountabilities
Strategic Leadership of Board and Committee Operations
- Oversee the end-to-end scheduling, preparation, and facilitation of SOPC’s Boards and Committees meetings, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment with organizational priorities.
- Drive the preparation and dissemination of agendas, supporting materials, and reports that reflect strategic goals, enabling informed discussions and decisions.
- Establish and maintain a governance calendar, ensuring timely planning and execution of all board and committee activities.
Governance and Compliance
- Support adherence to SOPC’s governance protocols, ensuring that board and committee activities align with SOPC’s regulatory frameworks and strategic priorities.
- Implement SOPC’s governance policies and standards during all board and committee meetings, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Advise board and committee members on SOPC’s governance frameworks, reinforcing best practices and adherence to organizational standards.
Documentation and Knowledge Management
- Lead the accurate documentation of board and committee minutes, resolutions, and action items, ensuring clarity, comprehensiveness, and accessibility for stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain an organized knowledge management system to securely store and manage records, enabling efficient retrieval and compliance with audit requirements.
- Ensure sensitive information is handled with the highest level of confidentiality, maintaining trust and organizational integrity.
Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Secretary General & CEO’s Office, Boards, Committees, and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Proactively engage with board and committee members to foster strong relationships, encourage active participation, and align efforts with SOPC’s strategic priorities.
- Anticipate and address stakeholder needs by providing timely information, resources, and support to enable effective decision-making.
Action Item Monitoring and Implementation
- Monitor and follow up on action items and resolutions from board and committee meetings, ensuring decisions are implemented effectively and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to support the implementation of board and committee decisions, tracking progress and providing updates as needed.
- Report on the status of action items to SOPC leadership, highlighting any challenges or delays and proposing solutions to ensure timely completion.
Strategic Reporting and Alignment
- Prepare and present detailed reports on board and committee activities, decisions, and outcomes to the Secretary General & CEO, emphasizing strategic impact and alignment with SOPC’s objectives.
- Ensure that board and committee discussions and decisions are effectively integrated into the organization’s broader strategic planning and execution processes.
- Analyze and report on governance trends, insights, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to strengthen SOPC’s governance model.

Job Purpose
Lead and elevate the Shooting high-performance program. Develop and implement strategic training initiatives that enhance athlete precision, mental focus, and competitive readiness across pistol, rifle, and shotgun disciplines. Foster the growth of elite shooting talent through structured development pathways, optimizing athlete support systems, and ensuring alignment with SOPC’s high-performance standards. Drive program excellence, maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, and uphold standards in safety, quality, and compliance to achieve success in national and international competitions.

Ensure the effective implementation of organizational policies, systems, and procedures, regularly reviewing and updating them to maintain operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Monitor the application of governance frameworks and risk management practices within the function, ensuring adherence to established policies and identifying areas for process .
Job-Specific Accountabilities
Strategic Program Development & Execution
- Lead the design and delivery of the Shooting high-performance program in conjunction with event specific coaches , setting strategic goals that address both technical mastery and mental resilience.
- Work with event specific coaches on overseeing the integration of structured training cycles that develop trigger control, breathing coordination, body stability, and target focus across all shooting disciplines.
- Ensure alignment with ISSF (International Shooting Sport Federation) standards and best practices to maintain program competitiveness.
Athlete Development & Performance Optimization
- Develop individualized athlete training plans alongside event specific coaches, incorporating data from performance tracking systems, including shot grouping, reaction times, and psychological consistency under pressure.
- Integrate sports science services, including vision training, biomechanics analysis, and stress management, to support athlete development and injury prevention.
- Oversee collaboration with mental performance coaches to enhance concentration, emotional regulation, and competition focus.
Talent Identification & Pathway Management
- Lead partnerships with national shooting federations and regional academies to identify and nurture emerging shooting talent.
- Design development pathways from grassroots through elite levels, ensuring continuity in athlete progression and technical growth.
- Support transition of promising athletes into senior competition levels through targeted mentoring and exposure to international events.
Competition Readiness & Event Coordination
- Coordinate all aspects of competition preparation, including range acclimatization, mental rehearsal routines, and event-specific equipment checks.
- Supervise training camps, technical tuning, and psychological readiness sessions prior to key national and international competitions.
- Conduct post-competition analysis to refine shooting strategies and adjust training based on athlete performance and outcome metrics.
Stakeholder Engagement & Resource Allocation
- Manage stakeholder relationships across SOPC, the National Shooting Federation, and relevant international bodies to support the program’s strategic direction.
- Oversee the allocation and management of program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources across training, equipment, travel, and competition support.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Drive innovation by integrating new technologies (e.g., electronic scoring systems, eye-tracking devices) into training environments.
- Promote a culture of feedback and continuous learning, incorporating insights from athletes, coaches, and analytics into future planning.
- Stay current with global advancements in shooting techniques and sports science, ensuring the program remains at the cutting edge of high performance.
