Alyasra Foods Sales Supervisor Chilled & Dairy 

JOB PURPOSE:
To supervise and drive the chilled division sales team across all retail channels, mainly in Traditional Trade, Supermarkets, E-commerce. coops, hypermarkets, branches, and independent outlets are plus. The Sales Supervisor ensures achievement of sales targets, compliance with merchandising standards, efficient route execution, and strong customer relationships. He/she leads a team of van salesmen and helpers to maximize product visibility, optimize stock turnover, and deliver sustainable growth for Al Safi Danone and related chilled brands.
Key Responsibilities

Sales and Performance Management
  • Monitor achievement of sales targets by channel, outlet, and brand, adapting plans to market dynamics.
  • Analyze Daily Sales Reports (DSR) by customer and salesman to identify gaps and take corrective actions.
  • Ensure strict compliance with merchandising standards including planograms, pricing, shelf space, product freshness, and cleanliness.
  • Coordinate with the Trade Channel Manager on promotions, stock aging, and sell-out strategies to drive performance.
  • Follow up with the Supply Chain Team on order placement and delivery accuracy.
  • Align with Finance Team on sales promotions and collections of receivables.
  • Oversee implementation of new product listings and ensure contractual visibility in all assigned outlets.
  • Track and manage monthly sales budgets, ensuring adherence to allocated spending and timely reporting.
Route Planning and Field Operations
  • Plan and supervise routes for van salesmen to ensure efficient market coverage and productivity.
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor execution, support salesmen, and resolve operational challenges on the spot.
  • Ensure consistent compliance with outlet standards (visibility, hygiene, and product assortment).
  • Support the team in maximizing cooler utilization and product rotation to avoid wastage.
Negotiation and Relationship Management
  • Support negotiations with coops, hypermarkets, and branches to secure visibility and favorable commercial terms.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
  • Provide market feedback and competitor insights to management to refine commercial strategies.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of van salesmen and helpers to achieve sales and execution of KPIs.
  • Conduct daily morning sales meetings to set objectives, review performance, and share updates.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback in collaboration with the Trade Channel Manager and HR/ OD.
  • Identify training and development needs of the sales team and recommend suitable interventions.
 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of sales experience in the Dairy & FMCG sector, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of chilled / perishable product handling and retail execution standards.
  • Proven track record in managing van sales teams and achieving sales targets.
  • Experience working with Traditional Trade, Supermarkets, E-commerce.
  • Hypermarkets, Coops and large retail accounts in Kuwait is plus.
  • Familiarity with sales reporting tools, route planning, and inventory management.
