Overview
We are seeking Planning & Performance Analyst to join Finance and Internal Auditing Planning and Performance Management Group.
The Finance and Internal Auditing Planning and Performance Management Group oversees comprehensive reporting across various timeframes, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually, to assess the organization's overall performance. Additionally, they develop strategic plans and business strategies.
As a Planning & Performance Analyst, you will be responsible in executing, planning and performance management (P&PM) analytical activities. This extends to monitoring departmental expenditures, analyzing variances, correcting errors, and consolidating performance inputs from transactions, key performance indicators (KPIs), narrative, risk assessments, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities
- As a successful candidate, you will be required to perform the following:
- Provide analytical findings & recommendations relating to P&PM tasks such as business plan preparation, performance tracking and measurement, and performance analysis and accountability reporting.
- Conduct special studies related to development of performance initiatives and business cases, benchmarking, risk management, design and re-design of measurements, processes and workflows, and information system-related changes.
Minimum Requirements
As a successful candidate you will hold a:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
- Advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA, CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum 9 years of relevant working experience in Planning and Performance Management job roles preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of management accounting, finance, PowerPoint and Excel is required.
- Demonstrated capability and track record in the practice of planning & performance management and in the use of business intelligence tools are required.

Through the Professional Development Unit (PDU), we mentor, guide, and support the next generation of Saudi Aramco leaders, helping ensure their success from foundation year through to graduation.
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Student Advisor / Career Advisor to join the Manchester Office of the PDU team. This role focuses on supporting the academic, professional, and personal development of Saudi Aramco-sponsored students in the UK and Europe, in alignment with company goals and development programs.
You will work closely with universities, internal departments, and external stakeholders to ensure that each student receives comprehensive support and guidance throughout their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities
Student Development & Advisory
- Monitor, support, and evaluate the academic, professional, and personal progress of sponsored students from foundation year to graduation.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to students to help them align with company career paths and expectations.
- Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of academic programs and curricula to ensure alignment with company requirements.
- Identify and recommend personal and professional development opportunities for students.
- Conduct orientation sessions for new students entering the program.
University & Partner Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with higher education institutions across the UK and
- Europe.
- Coordinate and attend regular university visits and meetings with academic staff and university officials.
- Liaise with university admissions teams to coordinate application processes, placements, and continuation programs.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and databases.
- Produce regular reports on student progress, program performance, and development outcomes.
- Keep abreast of changes in higher education policies and academic developments to inform internal strategy.
Skills & Tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with students and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
