We Are Looking for Several Positions:
1. Position: Sales Coworker
Purpose
Enhance the IKEA shopping experience to boost customer satisfaction and sales. Utilize product knowledge, top-sellers, and local market insights while collaborating with colleagues to support IKEA's mechanical sales system and overall concept.
Responsibilities
- Proactively assist customers by identifying their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Use various IKEA sales and communication channels effectively.
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and well-merchandised area to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Share knowledge about IKEA products with customers and colleagues.
- Understand and contribute to department goals and action plans.
- Promote all available services to enhance customer choices and experiences.
- Support commercial activities in your department to maximize sales and profitability.
- Analyze and manage sales space to ensure high stock availability.
- Uphold IKEA's social and environmental commitments for sustainability.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or higher.
- Fresh graduates or up to 1 year of experience.
2. Position: Barista
Purpose
Provide service to our customers as quickly and politely as possible. Execute tasks as outlined by the restaurant supervisor and restaurant manager.
Responsibilities
- Ensure sufficient cash float with bills and coins.
- Maintain stock of paper rolls and tape for the payment device.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of payment methods (cash, credit cards, KNet, vouchers/coupons) and procedures for each.
- Pay attention during transactions: prepare invoices, collect payments, and return change to customers.
- Have a good knowledge of the menu, dish preparations, pricing, and special offers.
- Keep the counter and surrounding areas clean at all times.
- Interact kindly and warmly with customers at all times; serve them with a smile.
- Record vouchers and invoices for different departments.
- Track transactions throughout the shift and prepare sales summaries.
- Sort cash and coins by denomination, place them in the cash register, prepare statements, lock the cash register, and hand it over to the duty manager for safekeeping.
- Inform the supervisor of any cash shortages.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or higher.
- Up to 1 year of experience in the barista field
3. Position: Store Interior Design Specialist
Purpose
Enhance IKEA's store positioning by integrating IKEA's commercial plans with our national and local strategies to ensure relevance, appeal, and competitiveness of the IKEA brand in each local market. This, in turn, drives long-term sales and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Use home furnishing expertise to create furniture solutions in room settings, homes, showrooms, and sales support areas that reflect IKEA's identity.
- Effectively contribute ideas from home visits and translate this knowledge into relevant, functional, aesthetic, and commercially viable home furnishing solutions that exceed customer expectations and reflect IKEA's style.
- Help create a display matrix that reflects a variety of styles, living conditions, and price levels to create a good rhythm with distinctive visual impressions.
- Ensure high quality, simplicity, efficiency, and cost awareness when planning and implementing all product display solutions using global tools and best practices.
- Use IKEA's Revit program, libraries, and templates to complete commercial planning and compile packages within the designated timeframe for the specified area.
- Stay updated with the latest information and knowledge on home furnishings, retail, and trends to contribute to workshops that generate creative ideas.
- Contribute to the department's business plan with initiatives that will grow the business and support long-term profitability, executing plans agreed upon with the Com&In team and other functions.
- Respect routines and responsibilities, work with the Com&In team and other functions, and act quickly to seize business opportunities while understanding the impact of your actions on financial results.
- Be mindful of visitors when working on the sales floor, ensuring minimal disruptions and remaining aware of safety importance and visual impact on visitors at all times.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design.
- Knowledge of Revit (preferred).
